A couple weekends ago we went up to Fairplay to visit friends. Our good friends bought a cozy cabin up there and they’ve had so much fun being up in the mountains with their little family! Tim and I dream about one day owning a cabin up in the mountains! A great place to get away and make family memories. Let the kids run wild, explore, get dirty, etc.
We got up to the cabin and our little ones loved it! They got to be somewhere new with friends and enjoyed every second! The adults stayed up late eating and drinking and we all had a blasty together. Our friends also have an ATV and we got to pile our bitty babies on it with us (don’t worry we were going the speed of a snail – ha) and explore a bit. We found this spot with such beautiful views. I can’t wait to go back when it’s covered in snow!
I don’t know what it is about having kids, but it has really made me crave more adventure. I mean, “adventure” that you can do with kids. I just never saw all this beauty in CO before I had kids! I knew we lived in a beautiful state, but I didn’t appreciate it the way I should have. I absolutely love seeing my kids play outdoors and watching them explore.
